Our Story

Five Rivers was formed on January 1, 2023 by the Province of New Brunswick as a result of Municipal Reform.

Before that, the village of Rexton and the former Local Service Districts of Harcourt, Weldford, and Richibucto Parish had their own histories.

This section provides important information about all of the areas that are now part of Five Rivers.
