Schedule for New Council

Following the local government election that took place earlier this month on Monday, May 11, the schedule of meetings for the newly elected council of Five Rivers has been set as follows:

  • Wednesday, June 10 @ 7:00 pm - Council will hold its first meeting of council, which will be a special meeting.
  • Tuesday, June 23 @ 6:00 pm - Council will hold its first committee-of-the-whole meeting.
  • Tuesday, July 14 @ 6:00 pm - Council will hold its first regular meeting of council.

Before the special meeting on July 10, Five Rivers will hold an oath of office ceremony to swear in the new council.

All regular, special, and committee-of-the-whole meetings are open to the public, and agendas will be posted as per By-Law A.01.

Note: Due to the transition between the current and new council, the regular meeting of council that had been scheduled for Tuesday, June 9, will not take place.
