Cultures of Kent County

Kent County, New Brunswick, is known for its unique blend of three cultures: Mi'kmaq, Acadian, and English (or Anglophone). These cultures have shaped the county's history, traditions, and identity. 
 
Mi'kmaq
The Mi'kmaq are the Indigenous people of the region, and their presence in Kent County dates back centuries. Kent County is home to three First Nations Communities including Elsipogtog First Nations, Indian Island First Nations and St. Marys.
 
Acadian

English/Anglophone
