Truth & Reconciliation - Tree Planting Ceremony

On September 30th, 2026, we pay respect to our indigenous neighbours by planting an oak tree, a true symbol of remembrance, growth and hope.

The public is invited to join our Mayor, Council and staff members outside the Beersville Fire Department at 11AM on Wednesday, September 30th, 2026.

The tree planting ceremony will be held in tribute to those whose lives were lost and honour the survivors, families and communities who continue to grieve and heal.
